Roblox Game Publishing: Test, Polish and Launch Your Game

Many young developers build games that never leave Roblox Studio. This four-week course helps learners finish what they started and publish a polished game they can share with family and friends.

Learners bring an existing Roblox project, big or small. In week one they run structured playtests with classmates, collect feedback and create a simple to-do list ranked by importance. Week two focuses on fixing bugs and smoothing difficulty, using the feedback to decide what to change first. In week three learners polish their game by improving lighting, adding sound effects, cleaning up unused parts and making sure the game runs smoothly. The final week covers publishing. Learners write a clear game title and description, design a thumbnail and icon, and set their game's privacy and permissions settings.

Throughout the course the teacher emphasizes online safety, including which settings to choose, why personal information should never be shared and how to involve a parent when publishing. Learners also learn how real developers plan updates after launch.

By the end each learner has a published or ready-to-publish Roblox game and a plan for its next update. The course suits learners who already have a game project and want to take it over the finish line.

How classes work

Each class focuses on one stage of launching a game. Learners apply it to their own project with teacher guidance and share progress in short demos.

Learners need an existing Roblox Studio game project and basic Studio skills. A parent should approve publishing settings.
