Roblox Clicker Simulator: Build and Script a Simulator Game

Simulator games keep players coming back with simple actions and satisfying upgrades. In this eight-week course learners build their own clicker simulator in Roblox Studio and learn the coding and design ideas that make these games fun.

Learners begin by choosing a theme, such as collecting stars, mining crystals or training muscles, and scripting a tool that earns points with every click. They display points on a leaderboard and add a sound and visual effect for each click. Next they build an upgrade shop where players spend points on multipliers that make each click worth more. Learners use variables and simple math to calculate rewards and prices.

In the second half of the course learners create new zones blocked by gates that open only when a player has enough points. Each zone offers better rewards, giving players a reason to keep going. Learners also add an auto-clicker upgrade and a rebirth-style reset that boosts future earnings, and they discuss how to keep progress fair and fun.

The teacher demonstrates every system step by step and helps learners balance numbers through testing. Learners present their games at the end of the course and invite classmates to play.

By the final class each learner has a simulator game with a shop, multipliers and at least two unlockable zones. Beginners with basic Roblox Studio skills are welcome.

How classes work

Each week features a short demo of one simulator system followed by hands-on building. Learners test numbers with classmates and adjust their game's balance.

• Week 6: Zone Gates – Build new zones that unlock with enough points.

• Week 7: Auto-Clicker and Rebirth – Add an auto-clicker upgrade and a boost-giving reset.

• Week 8: Simulator Showcase – Polish and present the finished simulator.

Basic Roblox Studio navigation is helpful. No prior coding needed.
