Find Your Show Idea and Name It
Learners brainstorm topics they love, test them with quick pitches, choose an audience and invent a show name and one-line tagline.

Kids aged 10 to 14 plan, script, record and edit their own first podcast episode in four weekly classes, choosing a topic they love and learning to speak clearly and confidently into a microphone.

Paid once.
This beginner course turns a curious idea into a finished podcast episode. Learners pick a topic they genuinely care about, from a favourite book series to a mystery in their neighbourhood, and shape it into a short show with a catchy name, an opening hook and a clear structure.
Along the way they practise the speaking skills that make audio work: pacing, warmth, emphasis and sounding natural rather than reading. They write a simple run-of-show, try a mini interview with a family member, capture their voice on a free recording app and learn basic trimming. The course ends with each learner sharing a short clip of their finished episode with the class for kind, specific feedback.
This is a four-week live course with one 50-minute class each week. Each class builds on the last: planning, then scripting, then recording, then editing and sharing. Learners finish a small task between classes, such as recording a practice take, so they arrive ready for the next step.
Plan a podcast episode with a clear topic and audience
Write an attention-grabbing hook and a simple episode outline
Speak into a microphone with steady pace and expression
Record and trim audio using a free app
Give and use constructive feedback on spoken work
No experience needed. Learners should be comfortable reading and writing short notes, and need a device with a microphone plus a phone or computer voice recorder app.
The notebook is for brainstorming and outlining the episode, and headphones help learners hear their recordings clearly while editing.
A step-by-step plan of what your child learns, class by class. · 4 Weeks
Learners brainstorm topics they love, test them with quick pitches, choose an audience and invent a show name and one-line tagline.
Learners write a gripping opening line, map their episode into intro, main segments and sign-off, and draft talking points instead of a word-for-word script.
Learners warm up their voices, practise pace and emphasis, then record a first take of their intro and a short interview segment at home.
Learners trim mistakes, add a simple intro sound, then premiere a clip of their finished episode for the class and give kind feedback.

Yes. No experience is needed. We start from choosing a topic and build up step by step, so a learner who has never spoken into a microphone or used an editing app can still finish a complete first episode by the final class.
A computer or tablet with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a free audio recording app or a phone or computer voice recorder. Headphones or earbuds help with editing. No special microphone or paid software is required.
Each learner finishes a short, edited podcast episode of their own, with a show name, an opening hook, planned segments and a sign-off. They also leave with practical speaking skills like pacing and expression that carry over into class presentations.
It runs for four weeks with one 50-minute live class per week. Each class covers one stage of making a podcast, moving from idea and outline to recording, then editing and sharing a clip of the finished episode.
No. The episode belongs to your child and is shared with family. Nothing is published publicly by the class. Learners play a short clip for classmates in the final session so they can hear each other's work and give feedback.
Possibly. The age range is a guide, not a hard rule. A learner just outside it can do well if they can read and write short notes comfortably and are happy to work on a project across several weeks.
Yes, there is light homework, such as recording a practice take or finishing an outline, usually 15 to 20 minutes a week. There is no certificate for this course; the finished episode is the reward.
You get a full refund if you cancel before the second class starts. After that, classes already started count as used and classes not yet started are refunded, either as store credit or to your original payment method. You can cancel from the class in your parent dashboard.
