Show and tell is often a child's very first experience of speaking to a group, and this gentle class makes it feel fun instead of scary. Each child brings one special object, like a teddy, a toy truck or a shell, and learns three easy steps: show it, name it, and say why you love it.
Through a wiggle warm-up, a pretend microphone game and a brave-voice echo song, learners practise speaking up, looking at the camera and holding their object so everyone can see. Then each superstar takes a turn presenting while friends give a silent cheer with jazz hands.
This is a single 25-minute live class. After a short warm-up game, the teacher shows an example show and tell using the three easy steps. Children practise together, then take turns presenting their object, with plenty of encouragement and a cheer from the group after every turn.
Hold up an object so everyone can see it
Name their object and say one thing about it
Speak in a big, brave voice to a group
Follow three simple steps to share an idea
Wait for a turn and cheer for friends
No experience needed, and no reading is required. Learners need a computer or tablet and one favourite object that fits in their hands. A grown-up nearby to help at the start is welcome.
Children present their favourite object and use a paper towel tube or spoon as a pretend microphone during the speaking games.

No experience is needed. This class is made for first-timers. If your child can say a few words about a favourite toy and follow simple instructions, they are ready. The three easy steps, show it, name it and say why you love it, keep things simple.
Only if they feel ready. Shy children can start by simply holding up their object, then say just its name, or speak along with the teacher. Many quiet children find that their favourite object gives them courage. Every small step is warmly celebrated, and no child is pressured.
One favourite object that fits in their hands, such as a teddy, a toy truck or a shell, plus a paper towel tube or spoon to use as a pretend microphone. Please have both nearby before class starts so your child can find them quickly.
Your child will have presented a short show and tell to a group, using a big brave voice and three simple steps. They will also practise holding an object so everyone can see, waiting for their turn and cheering for friends, which helps with show and tell at school.
It is a single 25-minute live class with no follow-up sessions. That length suits young attention spans. The class moves from a wiggle warm-up and speaking games to an example from the teacher and then everyone's turn to present.
No, the range is a flexible guide. A child just outside it may fit well if they can say a few words about a favourite object and follow simple spoken instructions. A grown-up nearby to help at the start is welcome, especially for younger learners.
You can cancel from the class in the parent dashboard. A class that has not yet started is refunded, while a class that has already started counts as used. Refunds go to store credit or the original payment method. If your child misses the class because of illness or an emergency, contact support, who review each case.
There is no homework and no certificate. Everything happens during the live class. If your child enjoyed it, you might invite them to do a show and tell for the family with a different object, but that is just for fun.
