Pitch Night: Choosing This Month's Episode
Learners pitch episode ideas, pick a format such as review, interview or story, and outline segments for their next episode.

Kids aged 9 to 13 plan, script, record and polish a new podcast episode every month in this weekly club, practising storytelling, interviewing and clear speaking while building a growing collection of episodes.

Paid once.
Young Podcasters Club gives storytellers and chatterboxes a regular creative outlet. Each month follows a four-week cycle that ends in a new, finished episode, so learners steadily build their own mini podcast series about topics they choose, from book reviews and science facts to family histories and made-up adventure tales.
In club sessions they brainstorm segment ideas, write punchy openings, practise interviewing techniques, work on vocal energy and learn simple editing moves such as trimming pauses and adding intro music. Every session includes a listening circle where learners play short clips and give each other kind, specific feedback, which helps them grow as speakers and as supportive listeners.
This is a drop-in weekly club, and new learners can join any week. Each 45-minute session has its own theme within a monthly episode cycle, so newcomers can start with the current step and work on an episode of their own right away.

No. No experience is needed. Each session teaches one practical skill, and newcomers are guided through starting their first episode. Learners who have been coming for a while simply build on what they already know.
That is fine. This is a drop-in weekly club, so new learners can join any week. A newcomer starts with the current session's step and is helped to begin an episode of their own, catching up naturally over the following weeks.
A computer or tablet with camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a free audio recording app or a phone or computer voice recorder. A notebook and headphones help with planning and editing. No special microphone is required.
No. Episodes belong to your child and are shared with family. Nothing is published publicly by the club. Learners play short clips for each other in the listening circle so they can enjoy and learn from each other's work.
Over time your child builds a small series of their own podcast episodes, roughly one a month, in formats like reviews, interviews and stories. Along the way they grow as confident speakers, good interviewers and thoughtful listeners.
Not necessarily. Ages 9 to 13 is a flexible guide. An older learner who is new to podcasting and enjoys a relaxed, creative club can fit in well and often helps lead interviews.
There is no required homework. Many learners enjoy finishing a recording between sessions, but it is optional. There is no certificate; the growing collection of episodes is something they can be proud of.
On a weekly plan, cancelling stops future billing, and you can do it any time from the class in your parent dashboard. If you cancel before the second class starts you get a full refund; after that, classes already started count as used and unstarted ones are refunded to store credit or your original payment method.
