  Electricity and Magnetism for Ages 8-12: Build Circuits and Electromagnets

  As a parent of a child in the 8–12 age range, I liked that the course centers on hands-on experiments—static electricity demonstrations, building series and parallel circuits, and the electromagnet activity. That said, the 45-minute sessions felt a bit rushed for the build-and-test parts, and the materials list could be clearer so families don't need extra prep time. Overall it's a solid introduction but may require a little more time or parental setup for some kids.

  Beginner's Latin: Cambridge Latin Course Unit 1 (Stages 11–12)

  We enrolled our 15-year-old to continue with Cambridge Latin Course Unit 1 (Stages 11–12) and were very pleased. The class covered plural personal pronouns, questions, composition exercises, and imperfect/perfect verb endings in a clear, steady way that matched their level. The regular practice and review, sentence pattern work, and the final presentation project helped build confidence and made the material feel rewarding rather than overwhelming.

  Cooking Around Trinidad & Tobago: Five Local Dishes

  As a parent of an 11-year-old, I appreciated that the course covers both recipes and cultural context. The five-week length and single weekly lesson made it easy to fit into our routine. He became more confident in the kitchen and enjoyed trying each new local dish.

  Piano Primer: Beginner Piano Skills (Primer Level)

  Solid introductory curriculum for ages 7–11. I would have liked slightly more focus on white-key geography early on, but overall positive.

  Minecraft Geometry: 2D/3D Shapes, Angles, Area & Symmetry

  This course did a fantastic job blending Minecraft with math — my 10-year-old stayed engaged building 2D and 3D shapes and got much better at recognizing symmetry. The 55-minute weekly lessons over four weeks were a nice, consistent rhythm.

  Math Problem-Solving Camp: Puzzles, Sudoku, and Pentominoes

  There were some interesting puzzles but my child found the 45-minute weekly format too brief to really dive into the competition-style problems.
