A four-week physical science course for grades 4-6. Learners explore solids, liquids and gases, model particles and build a melting and freezing lab in Roblox Studio.

Paid once.
Everything around us is made of matter, and matter can change. In this four-week course learners in grades 4 to 6 explore solids, liquids and gases by building models and experiments in Roblox Studio.
In week one learners learn what matter is and how solids, liquids and gases differ in shape and volume. They build particle models using small spheres, packing them tightly for solids, loosely for liquids and spreading them out for gases. Week two focuses on changes of state. Learners build a kitchen lab where an ice block melts into water and a pot of water turns into steam, using simple scripted animations and labels to show melting, freezing, evaporation and condensation.
In week three learners explore how temperature affects particles and discuss everyday examples like ice in drinks, puddles drying and fog on a mirror. They also investigate which changes are reversible and which are not. The final week is a states of matter escape room, where learners design puzzles that players must solve by answering questions about matter.
The teacher explains each concept with clear diagrams and short demonstrations, then guides learners through building. Learners present their lab or escape room to classmates.
By the end learners will understand the properties of solids, liquids and gases and how matter changes state. Some basic Roblox Studio skills are helpful.
Each class combines a short science explanation with a build task. Learners create models and experiments in Roblox Studio and explain them to the group.
Week 1: Solids, Liquids and Gases – Build particle models of each state.
Week 2: Changes of State – Build a lab showing melting, freezing, evaporation and condensation.
Week 3: Temperature and Particles – Explore everyday examples and reversible changes.
Week 4: Matter Escape Room – Design puzzles that test knowledge of matter.
Describe properties of solids liquids and gases
Model particles in each state of matter
Explain melting freezing evaporation and condensation
Identify reversible and irreversible changes
Design science puzzles that test matter knowledge
Basic Roblox Studio navigation. No coding experience needed.
