A four-week engineering course where learners build chain reaction machines in Roblox Studio. They use dominoes, ramps, levers and pulleys to complete a task in many fun steps.

Paid once.
Chain reaction machines turn a simple task into a long, clever sequence of steps. In this four-week course learners use Roblox Studio's physics to design their own chain reaction machines and practice the engineering design process.
In week one learners explore simple machines, including ramps, levers, pulleys and wheels, and build a short three-step chain using dominoes and a rolling ball. Week two focuses on energy transfer. Learners discover how energy moves from one part to the next and add steps like see-saws, swinging pendulums and falling weights. In week three learners follow the engineering design process to solve a challenge, such as ringing a bell or turning on a light, with at least eight steps. They sketch a plan, build, test and fix weak links. The final week is a machine showcase where learners connect their machine to a classmate's to make one giant class chain reaction.
The teacher demonstrates each simple machine and explains forces and energy in kid-friendly terms. Learners keep an engineering journal with sketches and notes on what failed and how they fixed it.
By the end learners will understand simple machines and energy transfer and will have built a working chain reaction machine. No coding is required.
Each class introduces a simple machine or engineering idea. Learners add it to their machine, test it and record fixes in a journal.
Week 1: Simple Machines – Build a three-step chain with dominoes.
Week 2: Energy Transfer – Add see-saws, pendulums and weights.
Week 3: Design Challenge – Build an eight-step machine for a task.
Week 4: Class Chain Reaction – Connect machines into one giant chain.
Identify ramps levers pulleys and wheels
Explain how energy transfers between parts
Follow the engineering design process
Test and fix weak links in a machine
Collaborate to connect machines
Basic Roblox Studio skills such as moving, rotating and anchoring parts.
Bhavya brings a decade of focused Roblox Studio teaching to young creators and teen developers. She structures lessons around hands-on projects: younger students build cities, islands, arenas, and adventure maps through guided, non-coding design sessions, while older learners mov…
