A four-week AI literacy course that uses Roblox to explain how computers make decisions. Learners explore rules, decision trees, patterns and the difference between game AI and modern AI tools.

Paid once.
Kids hear about AI everywhere, but what does it actually mean? This four-week course uses Roblox games as a friendly, hands-on way to understand how computers make decisions.
In week one learners explore rule-based AI. They play a teacher-built Roblox game with guards and helpers, then write the rules they think control each character and test their guesses. Week two introduces decision trees. Learners draw trees for simple game characters, such as a pet that decides whether to eat, play or sleep, and build a version in Roblox Studio with provided scripts. In week three learners explore patterns and data, playing a sorting game and discussing how modern AI tools learn patterns from huge amounts of examples rather than following hand-written rules. The final week focuses on thinking critically about AI. Learners discuss what AI is good at, where it makes mistakes, why it can be biased and how to use AI tools responsibly.
The teacher uses clear examples, games and discussion rather than heavy coding, so the course is accessible to beginners. Learners leave able to explain AI ideas to friends and family in their own words.
By the end learners will understand the difference between rule-based game AI and learning-based AI and think more critically about the AI tools around them.
Each class combines a Roblox activity with a short discussion on one AI idea. Learners draw decision trees and test predictions in games.
Week 1: Rule-Based AI – Guess and test the rules behind game characters.
Week 2: Decision Trees – Draw and build a pet's decision tree.
Week 3: Patterns and Learning – Explore how modern AI learns from examples.
Week 4: Thinking Critically About AI – Discuss strengths, mistakes, bias and responsible use.
Explain how rule-based game AI works
Draw and test decision trees
Describe how modern AI learns from examples
Identify strengths and limits of AI
Discuss responsible use of AI tools
No coding experience needed. Basic Roblox familiarity is helpful.
