Highly recommend for teens interested in ancient empires — focused, informative, and nicely paced with one 60-minute lesson per week.

The course covers interesting topics like royal propaganda and monuments, but it was a bit too challenging and dense for my younger teen. The once-a-week, hour-long lessons over 21 weeks might work better for older or more advanced students.

A thoughtful, in-depth exploration of the Neo-Assyrian period that suited my 14-year-old's curiosity. The emphasis on primary sources and historical context made the lessons meaningful across the 21 weeks.
