  Honors Latin — Part Four: Infinitives, Indirect Statements, and Subjunctives

  As a parent, I liked that the course sticks closely to higher-level topics like tense relationships, perfect and future infinitives, and introductory subjunctive forms. My child is 12 and found the material challenging but accessible, and the single weekly 55-minute lesson was long enough to explore examples without being exhausting. Over the seven-week run, the lessons built on each other so the concepts of indirect statements and fearing clauses started to click. Overall it's a rigorous but well-paced option for teens in the 12–16 age range who want a deeper grammatical understanding.

  World History: Broad Survey from Prehistory to Modern Era

  The high-level broad survey really works for our family, and my 14-year-old enjoys learning big-picture connections across different eras. Lessons are only 30 minutes once a week, which fits our schedule and keeps attention high. I like that the course includes games, projects, and short reports so learning feels active instead of just reading. The 32-week length gives enough time to touch prehistory, medieval, Renaissance, and modern events without rushing, and it's challenging enough for older kids in the 10-15 range while still being accessible.

  Phonics Summer Camp: CVC Word Families & Sight Words

  Good course with fun activities; sometimes the small-group pace was a little fast for my child, but overall helpful for building fluency.
