Finger Tricks for Faster Turning
Learners practise fingertip turns for the top and right faces and drill smooth move patterns without regripping the cube.

Kids who can already solve a 3x3 cube drop in each week to cut their times with finger tricks, smarter cross planning, look-ahead drills and friendly timed solve challenges.

Paid once.
This club is for young cubers who can finish a solve and now want to get faster. Each week focuses on one speed skill, such as planning the cross during inspection, turning with fingertips instead of the whole hand, or spotting the next pair while solving the current one.
Learners warm up with a few timed solves, learn and drill the week's technique, and finish with a short challenge round. They track their best and average times in a simple log, so they can see real progress from week to week and set their own next target.
The club meets weekly with a drop-in theme each time, so new cubers can join any week without falling behind. Every session follows the same rhythm: timed warm-up solves, a focused technique drill, then a friendly challenge round to try the new skill.
Use finger tricks to turn faster with fewer regrips
Plan the cross during a fifteen-second inspection
Apply look-ahead to reduce pauses between steps
Track best and average solve times in a log
Add shorter last-layer move patterns to their method
Learners should already be able to solve a 3x3 cube on their own using any beginner method, even if it takes a few minutes. A 3x3 cube and a phone or online timer are needed.
The cube and a timer are used for warm-up and challenge solves, and the notebook keeps a log of times and new move patterns.
A step-by-step plan of what your child learns, class by class.
Learners practise fingertip turns for the top and right faces and drill smooth move patterns without regripping the cube.
Cubers use the fifteen-second inspection to plan a full cross, then test whether they can solve it in eight moves or fewer.
Kids solve slowly without pausing, training their eyes to find the next piece while their hands finish the current step.
Learners pick up a few shorter last-layer move patterns that replace longer beginner steps and save seconds on every solve.

Yes. If your child can complete a 3x3 solve on their own with any beginner method, they are ready. Speed is exactly what the club works on, so a slow solve is a perfectly good starting point.
Yes. Each week has its own theme and stands alone, so new cubers can join any week. Earlier weeks are not needed to follow along, and themes rotate so key skills come around again.
It is a weekly 45-minute drop-in club. Sessions open with timed warm-up solves, move into one focused speed technique, and finish with a short challenge round using the new skill.
No. Any 3x3 cube that turns reasonably smoothly is fine. A lighter, smoother cube helps with finger tricks, but the techniques work on any cube. A timer app or stopwatch is also useful for tracking solves.
The focus is on beating their own times, not other learners. Each cuber keeps a personal log of best and average solves, and challenges are framed around personal goals so everyone can feel progress.
The club introduces stepping stones towards faster methods, like cross planning, look-ahead and shorter last-layer move patterns. These build naturally into more advanced methods later, without overwhelming newer cubers.
There is no set homework, though cubers who practise a few minutes a day usually see faster times. No certificate is given; the progress shows up in their own time log.
On a weekly plan, cancelling stops future billing. Classes already started count as used, and any not yet started are refunded to store credit or your original payment method. You can cancel from the class in the parent dashboard.
