A weekly club for teens aged 13-16 who love Roblox. Members play popular genres together and discuss game design, from mechanics and monetization to what makes players come back.

Paid once.
Teens who love Roblox often want more than just playing. They want to understand why some games are so popular. This weekly club for ages 13 to 16 combines group play with thoughtful conversations about game design. Each session is self-contained, so members can join any week.
Each meeting focuses on a genre, such as simulators, horror, roleplay, fighting games or obbies. The group plays a game from that genre together in a teacher-hosted private server, then pauses to discuss it. Topics include core gameplay loops, how games teach players without long tutorials, why some rewards feel exciting, and how games use limited-time events to keep players returning. Members also take a critical look at monetization, discussing which practices feel fair and which feel pushy, and how to make smart choices as players.
Some weeks include short design challenges, such as sketching an improvement to the game they just played or pitching an idea for a new game in two minutes. Members who build in Roblox Studio are welcome to share their projects for feedback.
All play happens in private servers with only club members and the teacher, who supervises throughout. The club values respectful debate and different opinions.
The club suits teens who enjoy gaming and want to think more deeply about how games are made.
Each session pairs group play in one genre with a guided design discussion and an optional quick design challenge. Members can join any week.
