Little Cubers is a gentle first step into twisty puzzles. Instead of starting with a big 3x3 cube, children work with a smaller 2x2 cube and a four-sided pyramid puzzle, which have fewer pieces and quicker wins.
Learners match colours, learn a handful of moves with playful names, and follow picture-style steps to solve each puzzle. Short bursts of turning are mixed with sorting games and stretch breaks to suit young attention spans. By the end, children can scramble and solve both puzzles and show a grown-up how they did it.
This is a four-week course with one 30-minute class each week. Each class builds on the last, adding one new step, practising it together slowly, and ending with a small solving goal to try at home before the next class.

Yes. The course starts from the first twist and is designed for complete beginners. Steps are shown with colours and pictures, so children do not need to read well or know any cube moves to start.
You need a 2x2 cube and a four-sided pyramid puzzle. Basic, inexpensive versions are fine. Paper and crayons are useful for drawing colour clues for each move.
The 2x2 cube and pyramid puzzle have fewer pieces, so young learners get to a full solve much faster. That early success builds confidence and the same thinking carries over to a 3x3 cube later on.
Most children will be able to scramble and solve both the pyramid puzzle and the 2x2 cube using a few simple named moves, and explain each step to you.
It runs for four weeks with one 30-minute class per week. The short length keeps young learners focused, and each class adds just one new step.
A grown-up nearby to help at the start is welcome, especially with setting up the device. Once class begins, children usually work with their own puzzle and need less help.
