Among Us Logic: Find the Impostor with Math and Clues

Among Us is really a logic game, and this course turns it into great math practice. Learners solve impostor puzzles using clue tables, if-then reasoning, elimination and simple probability.

Each week builds a new reasoning tool and ends with a group 'emergency meeting' where learners present evidence and vote. Kids learn to think carefully, explain their reasoning and spot weak arguments, all while having fun with a game they love.

How classes work

Each week starts with a short live demo of the new idea, followed by guided practice while the teacher checks in with every learner. Classes end with a small challenge to try before next time.

What we'll cover

• Week 1: Clue Tables – Organize sightings and alibis in a logic grid to narrow down suspects.

• Week 2: If-Then Thinking – Use conditional clues to rule crewmates in or out.

• Week 3: Chance and Probability – Estimate the chance each player is the impostor as clues come in.

• Week 4: Design Your Own Mystery – Write a logic puzzle for classmates to solve in an emergency meeting.

No experience needed. Learners need a device with a camera and microphone for live classes.
