Class Experience
Model UN and historical role-play build research, speaking and leadership skills. The coach helps teens research positions, write position papers and practise speeches.
Sessions include mock debates and negotiation practice, so teens arrive at conferences ready to lead.
How classes work
Every session is private and paced to the learner. The teacher starts by checking where the learner is, adjusts the plan to their goals and gives detailed feedback in every class.
What we'll cover
Session 1: Model UN Basics – Learn Model UN procedures and vocabulary.
Session 2: Research – Research a country's position on an issue.
Session 3: Position Paper – Write a clear, well-supported position paper.
Session 4: Speeches – Practise opening speeches and moderated caucus remarks.
Session 5: Negotiation – Practise negotiation and coalition building.
Session 6: Mock Session – Run a mock committee session.
