As a parent I appreciated the thoughtful approach to sensitive topics and the way the course encouraged my child to think about language in social and political contexts.

Excellent course for curious teens. Short enough to maintain attention but substantive enough to provoke real thinking about language and cognition.

Excellent short course: two lessons per week, 55 minutes each, and enough hands-on work to make the topics stick.

Overall helpful and interesting for my 13-year-old, especially the typological comparisons. My only quibble is that with just four sessions, some topics felt a bit rushed; still a beneficial intro.
