Recommended for ages 10–15; my 10-year-old enjoyed the clear focus on the Fante Confederacy and looked forward to the weekly 40-minute lesson. The survey format made complex topics accessible without dragging on.

Very pleased — the seven-week structure with one 40-minute lesson per week was a nice rhythm for my 14-year-old to study the Fante Confederacy in manageable chunks. The coverage of origins, regional conflicts, political change, and decline felt comprehensive for a middle-school level, and it kept my child engaged throughout.

I appreciated that the class touched on origins and European contact, which sparked interesting conversations at home. At times the single 40-minute lesson per week felt a little rushed to fully absorb the material. For a middle-schooler this course has useful content but the pacing may not suit every learner.

Good course overall: the topics on regional conflicts and decline were well covered and appropriate for my 11-year-old. I would have liked slightly longer lessons or an extra session each week, but the pacing mostly worked.
