We appreciated that the course focuses on planning and iteration — each session’s theme, guided gameplay and time to reflect on improvements made the projects feel purposeful. The emphasis on crafting, first-night survival and basic Redstone components like pressure plates and dispensers matched what we were looking for in a grades 4–7 offering.

As a parent, I liked the balance between creative builds and functional engineering—students practice mob defense, Redstone components like pressure plates and dispensers, and then share builds in a final showcase.

I appreciated the balance of imagination and structure. The animated prompt inspired ideas, the journal helped plan, and submitting a photo made the whole activity feel complete; my 10-year-old was genuinely excited to participate.

There were useful elements like prototyping and presentation practice, but my teen found parts of the course repetitive and would have preferred a faster pace in some weeks.
