This course offered exactly the kind of social-emotional learning I was hoping for: games, role play, and structured activities that make Nonviolent Communication concepts accessible. Over the 8 weeks my 10-year-old became noticeably better at identifying emotions, stating needs, and making respectful requests, which has improved interactions at home and with friends.

Valuable lessons in mindful communication and conflict-resolution, and my child benefited from the empathy listening practice; the only small drawback was that some 55-minute sessions were a bit long for them on busy days.

I liked that the course emphasized translating judgments into observations — my child started using that language at school. Two lessons per week over eight weeks felt like the right rhythm to build skills.
