A fun and educational week — the lessons were well structured and my child particularly enjoyed identifying Maya artifacts during the mock excavation.

Very engaging content and age-appropriate, though I wish the single-week format included a little more time for follow-up activities.

This unit is a well-rounded follow-up in the six-unit sequence for our child. The lessons touched on many useful reading and writing skills — cause and effect, proper nouns, contractions, adjectives — and the writing assignments (procedural texts, lists, and narratives) felt purposeful. Math topics such as odd/even numbers, using a ruler, and graphing were practical, and the twice-weekly 50-minute format allowed time to dig in. Occasionally the sessions seemed slightly long for attention span, but the overall content and steady pacing led to noticeable improvement across the seven weeks.

Loved how hands-on it was; the recording techniques were explained clearly and my 10-year-old enjoyed practicing them during the 45-minute sessions.
