Beginner Chess Foundations: Tactics, Development, and Endgames

This was an excellent beginner chess course for our 6-year-old. The demonstrations of checkmating patterns and essential tactics were clear, and the practice games gave plenty of chances to apply new ideas. The focus on development and basic endgame principles felt age-appropriate and the frequent 25-minute sessions kept him engaged across the two weeks.

Humanoid Robotics Programming with Choreographe (Pepper & NAO)

The two-week format with five lessons per week worked well for our schedule and gave my 15-year-old a solid intro to humanoid robotics. Lessons focused on behavior sequencing and controlling movement and voice in simulation, and the pacing was challenging but manageable. I liked that the 60-minute sessions kept my child engaged and building things with Pepper and NAO fairly quickly.

Beginner Chess Foundations: Tactics, Development, and Endgames

There were useful components like tactics and introductory endgame principles, and the practice games helped my 9-year-old think more strategically. However, with only two weeks of five short lessons per week it felt a bit rushed to fully absorb everything.
