As a parent I appreciated the structured approach over 10 weeks—one 50-minute lesson per week fit our schedule nicely. The curriculum covered key topics like loops, functions, conditionals, event handling, scoring, and debugging, and my child was proud to finish three playable games. The difficulty seemed appropriate for the 10–15 age range and provided a good balance of challenge and support. I would recommend this to kids interested in learning Python through projects.

This 10-week course was a great introduction to game development for my 11-year-old. They loved building playable games and practicing scoring and collision detection with Pygame. The 50-minute weekly lessons kept their attention without being overwhelming.

The course does a good job introducing loops, functions, conditionals, and collision detection in a way my child could follow. It felt a bit fast at times for concepts like event handling and debugging, but overall very engaging.

My 12-year-old enjoyed learning to build Brick Breaker, Space Invaders, and Dino Run with Pygame; the weekly 50-minute lessons were solid, though they sometimes wanted more hands-on practice within the class time.
