Winter break is the perfect time to try the stage. In this five-day musical theater camp, kids learn a short original winter musical with a catchy song, a simple script and easy choreography, then perform it together on the last day. No auditions and no solo pressure: every learner has a part that fits how brave they feel that week.
Each day adds one layer of the show. Learners start with playful voice and body warm-ups and name games, then learn the camp's winter song in parts, practicing breath, pitch and singing as a group. Midweek they read the script, explore their characters and practice speaking lines with expression. Day four adds movement and staging, and on day five the group runs the whole show from start to finish.
The camp is designed with shy and anxious kids in mind. Learners can start by singing with cameras off or in the chorus, and the teacher gently invites bigger moments only when a child is ready. Small leadership roles, such as leading a warm-up, counting in the song or calling a scene, give every child a chance to step forward in a safe way.
By the end of the week, learners have performed a complete mini musical, learned real theater warm-ups they can use anywhere and discovered that performing with a team can be fun rather than scary. Families are welcome to watch the final showcase on camera.
Each 45-minute class starts with a warm-up game, followed by guided practice of the day's song, scene or movement. Classes end with a short run-through and a shout-out round where learners celebrate each other's progress.

Printed lyric and script sheets (shared before Day 1); water bottle; an optional winter scarf, hat or mittens to use as a simple costume piece; a small clear space to move.

No. Nobody is asked to sing solo, and shy learners can start in the chorus or with their camera off. The teacher invites bigger moments only when a child seems ready.
Print the lyric and script sheets shared before Day 1 and clear a small space to stand and move. A winter scarf, hat or mittens makes a fun optional costume piece.
The teacher shares a short recap and the song or scene notes so your child can catch up. Parts are flexible, so a missed day will not stop them joining the final showcase.
They will have learned a group song, a short script and simple choreography, and performed the full mini musical live with the group. Families can watch the Day 5 showcase on camera.
Yes. Roles are matched to each child, so younger learners can take shorter lines while older learners lead warm-ups or take larger parts. The camp is designed for beginners aged 7 to 12.
