Lyrics and Hooks
Write verse and chorus lyrics using imagery, rhyme and a memorable hook line.

A relaxed weekly club where teens write lyrics, find chords and shape melodies into songs of their own. A rotating four-week cycle covers lyrics, chords, melody and a friendly share session, so new members can join any week.

Paid once.
This weekly club gives teens a regular, supportive place to write songs. Whether they have a notebook full of lyrics or have never finished a song, each meeting offers a clear focus, short writing time and a friendly group of fellow songwriters to share ideas with.
The club runs on a rotating four-week cycle. One week we focus on lyrics, using imagery, rhyme and a strong hook. Another week we explore simple chord progressions and how chords set a mood. A third week we build melodies that fit the words, and the fourth week is a relaxed share session where members play or read their work in progress.
Each meeting starts with a short listening example or mini lesson on one songwriting idea, then moves into a guided prompt that members work on during class. Learners can write with an instrument, sing ideas into a voice memo or simply focus on lyrics; all approaches are welcome.
Feedback is always kind and specific. Members learn to say what is working in a song and to suggest one thing to try, which builds confidence in sharing their own work. Sharing is encouraged but never required, so quieter members can participate through chat or by listening.
Because the cycle repeats with fresh prompts, members can join in any week and stay as long as they like, building a growing collection of song drafts over time.
Each club meeting includes a short mini lesson, a guided writing prompt and time to share. The four themes rotate every month with new prompts, so members can join in any week and keep growing.

It is for teens aged 11–16 who want to write their own songs, whether they are complete beginners or already have lyrics in a notebook. Both instrumentalists and lyric-only writers are welcome.

Yes. The club runs on a rotating four-week cycle of lyrics, chords, melody and sharing, so new members can join any week. If they miss a meeting, they simply pick up with the next theme.
Sharing is encouraged but never required. Members can share through chat, read lyrics instead of singing or just listen until they feel ready.
They will have a growing collection of lyrics, chord ideas and song drafts, and many members finish at least one song they can share. Progress depends on how much each member writes.
