Teen Investing Club: Track the Market Weekly

Teen Investing Club gives advanced learners a place to follow real markets and talk strategy. Each week members review their mock portfolios, discuss a market news story and learn one investing concept in depth.

Topics include diversification, index funds, compound growth, risk and reading company reports. Learners practise analysing evidence and defending decisions, without real money and with a strong focus on responsible long-term investing.

How classes work

Each weekly session opens with a quick warm-up and a short new idea, then learners work on the session's challenge together while the teacher guides the group. Sessions end with time to share. New learners can join any week because each session stands on its own.

What we'll cover

• Session theme 1: Portfolio Check-In – Review each member's mock portfolio, discuss the week's changes and explain decisions.

• Session theme 2: Diversification and Risk – Compare the risk of single stocks, funds and bonds and rebalance mock portfolios.

• Session theme 3: Reading Company Reports – Find revenue, profit and debt in a real company's report and discuss what they mean.

• Session theme 4: News and Markets – Analyse how a recent news story moved markets and debate whether the reaction made sense.
