1-on-1 Investing Mentorship

This mentorship is for teens who are serious about investing. The mentor teaches how to research companies, read financial statements and build a diversified, long-term portfolio.

Each session includes analysis practice with real public data and a discussion of the learner's mock portfolio decisions. No real money is used.

How classes work

Every session is private and paced to the learner. The teacher starts by checking where the learner is, adjusts the plan to their goals and gives detailed feedback in every class.

• Session 1: Investing Goals – Set goals and review key investing vocabulary.

• Session 2: Reading Financial Statements – Read income statements and balance sheets for a real company.

• Session 3: Valuation Basics – Use simple ratios like P/E to compare companies.

• Session 4: Index Funds and ETFs – Compare passive and active investing and their costs.

• Session 5: Diversification – Build a diversified mock portfolio across sectors.

• Session 6: Risk and Return – Measure and compare risk using simple historical data.

• Session 7: Behavioral Investing – Learn common emotional mistakes and how to avoid them.

• Session 8: Portfolio Review – Present and defend the final mock portfolio.
