Class Experience
Murder Mystery Club is for teens who love a good whodunit. Each session the group plays part of a mystery game or designs one together, from inventing characters with secrets and motives to hiding clues and planning a dramatic reveal.
Over the weeks the club builds a complete mystery game that members can run at a party or family night. Along the way learners practise logical reasoning, character writing and teamwork, and the mysteries stay age-appropriate with no graphic content.
How classes work
Each weekly session opens with a quick warm-up and a short new idea, then learners work on the session's challenge together while the teacher guides the group. Sessions end with time to share. New learners can join any week because each session stands on its own.
What we'll cover
Session theme 1: Characters and Motives – Invent a cast of suspects, each with a secret, a motive and an alibi that might not hold up.
Session theme 2: Planting Clues – Design clues and red herrings that point fairly toward the culprit without giving it away.
Session theme 3: The Reveal – Plan the dramatic final scene and how players will make and test their accusations.
Session theme 4: Game Night – Play the finished mystery as a club and vote on the best detective work.
