Class Experience
Five Nights at Freddy's has one of the most puzzled-over storylines in gaming. In this weekly club, older fans analyse clues from the games and books, organize evidence and build their own lore theories.
Learners practise the same skills used in literature class, such as finding evidence, making inferences and explaining reasoning, then write short original scenes in the style of the series (kept age-appropriate). It is a great way to grow reading and writing skills through a passion.
How classes work
Each weekly session opens with a quick warm-up and a short new idea, then learners work on the session's challenge together while the teacher guides the group. Sessions end with time to share. New learners can join any week because each session stands on its own.
What we'll cover
Session theme 1: Evidence Boards – Collect clues from the series and organize them on an evidence board.
Session theme 2: Theory Workshop – Build a theory, explain the evidence and respond to questions.
Session theme 3: Writing Suspense – Learn how authors build suspense and write a short tense scene.
Session theme 4: Lore Showcase – Present a final theory or story to the club.
