DIY Chemistry: States, Mixtures, and Simple Reactions

We enrolled our 7-year-old in the four-week DIY Chemistry course and it exceeded expectations. The 35-minute weekly lessons were the perfect length to keep him engaged, and he especially enjoyed building marshmallow models of molecules and watching the vinegar–baking soda reaction to see a chemical change. The activities and diagrams made concepts like solids, liquids, mixtures, and pure substances easy for him to grasp.
