Highly recommended for kids ages 8–12 who want a short, structured group reading experience with focused discussion on plot and relationships.

The story and group discussions were enjoyable, but the pacing seemed slow for my 12-year-old who already knew parts of the book; still useful for comprehension practice.

This was a great group book study—my 8-year-old, who is usually quiet about books, came home talking about the plot and characters.

My child liked the class, though we would have preferred two sessions per week to break up the reading sessions into smaller chunks.
