As a parent, I liked that the course sticks closely to higher-level topics like tense relationships, perfect and future infinitives, and introductory subjunctive forms. My child is 12 and found the material challenging but accessible, and the single weekly 55-minute lesson was long enough to explore examples without being exhausting. Over the seven-week run, the lessons built on each other so the concepts of indirect statements and fearing clauses started to click. Overall it's a rigorous but well-paced option for teens in the 12–16 age range who want a deeper grammatical understanding.

This honors Latin Part Four provided a solid, introductory treatment of the perfect subjunctive and fearing clauses for my 15-year-old. The pacing felt appropriate: one 55-minute lesson per week across the seven weeks allowed steady progress without rushing. He came away more confident with indirect statements and how different infinitives work in reported speech.
