Friendly, encouraging approach that helped my 6-year-old get more comfortable retelling stories and writing short mini-stories by the end of the 8 weeks.

We appreciated the focus on story elements and predicting from clues, however after a few weeks my child seemed ready for more challenging material. The once-per-week cadence made progress slower than we expected.

The course covers good fundamentals like settings and retelling, but my child sometimes found the lessons a bit repetitive. It was still helpful for practicing new vocabulary.

Useful exercises for sequencing and character identification, though I wish there had been more time for each hands-on activity within the 45 minutes.
