Really impressed — the Literacy Lab's decoding 'blueprint' for blends and multi-syllabic words and the work on common prefixes and suffixes made reading less intimidating for my 7-year-old. The active annotation exercises and tips for eliminating distractors during assessments were practical and easy to apply. Two weeks with two 45-minute sessions per week felt just right for keeping my child engaged and building confidence.

The course did a nice job teaching annotation strategies and how to spot question types; my child started pointing out textual evidence on their own. The only small drawback was that at times the lessons felt a bit rushed for our pace.

My 6-year-old enjoyed the focus on blends and prefixes during the two-week lab with twice-weekly 45-minute lessons, though I wished there was a little more practice time for multisyllabic decoding.
