Fall Silhouette Painting

Fantastic one-week class for little artists. My 6-year-old loved exploring primary colors and simple color mixing, painting a layered background, and choosing a silhouette from the provided handouts. The pacing fit the 55-minute lesson well and we ended up with a lovely fall-themed piece to display at home.

Fall Silhouette Painting

Overall a positive experience — the fall-themed silhouette project was engaging and the layered background technique was a nice touch. With only one 55-minute lesson in a one-week course, I would have liked a brief follow-up or extra practice suggestions.

Fall Silhouette Painting

The class combined creative choice-making with teaching primary colors. The tracing handouts made it easy for my 4-year-old to participate and we now have a cute fall silhouette to display.
