Roblox Studio: Game Map Design and Building

As a parent, I really liked the hands-on layout β€” eight live 55-minute classes where students build neighborhoods, cities, islands, arenas and a final original map in Roblox Studio without coding. My child was excited by the step-by-step demos and the variety of map types covered.

Chess Basics Level 1: Pieces, Rules & Play

As a parent I appreciated that the course starts with rules and piece movement before moving into tactics and notation. The guided full-game play helped my 8-year-old apply what they learned, and the 5-week format with two sessions per week provided steady progress without feeling rushed. The overall difficulty seemed appropriate for beginners and the 55-minute duration kept them engaged throughout.

Scratch Coding: Build an Electric Race Car Game

This Scratch coding course was exactly what my 11-year-old needed to explore new ideas. Over four 55-minute lessons in one week they worked with control flow, variables, cloning and sensing while creating a fun race car game. The difficulty felt appropriate for ages 7-12 and my child was proud of the final project, so I would recommend it to other parents looking for a solid introductory coding experience.

Scratch Coding: Build an Electric Race Car Game

As a parent, I appreciated that the one-week structure with four sessions fit into our schedule. The lessons introduced cloning and sensing in a way my 7-year-old could follow.
