I appreciate the emphasis on structured expository writing and rhetorical techniques, yet the intensive schedule and length of sessions sometimes left my child feeling fatigued.

Well-paced for a summer intensive — the 90-minute lessons were focused and the independent work reinforced class lessons.

This summer course hit the core English I skills: close reading, rhetoric, and expository writing. My 14-year-old came out more confident with essay structure and better prepared for end-of-course assessments.

The revision practice was particularly valuable and the capstone pushed my teen to synthesize what they learned. Five weeks felt intensive but effective.
