As a parent of an 8-year-old, I appreciated the mix of speaking, listening and simple songs that kept my child engaged during the 30-minute lessons. The pacing felt appropriate overall and the many opportunities for spoken practice helped build confidence. We would have liked slightly more written exercises and deeper review of calendar vocabulary, but it was a solid introduction to basic French.

This beginner French course covered the alphabet, greetings, numbers, colors and animals in a fun way using slides and songs. It's well suited for a 5–9 year old, but with only two lessons per week across eight weeks I would have liked a bit more time devoted to reading and writing practice.

My 6-year-old enjoyed the songs and games in Beginner French: Alphabet, Greetings, Numbers & Basic Vocabulary, and the 30-minute lessons fit our schedule — I just wish there were a third lesson per week for extra practice.
