The instrument-making was a highlight and my child enjoyed the drumming, but the final showcase felt shorter than we expected. It was a useful introduction to rhythm and tempo, though somewhat limited in scope.

We liked the creative performance focus and the hands-on drum activities. I would have preferred a bit more progression in difficulty across the eight sessions, but overall it was enjoyable.

Great fit for the age range; my child improved at remembering rhythms and following tempo through the call-and-response and tempo experiments. The collaborative jams were a favorite part and the eight-session structure worked well.

There were definite positives like the instrument-making and rhythm practice, but my 12-year-old sometimes found the activities a bit young for their skill level. Still, the lessons did offer useful listening and memory exercises.
