Book Club: Toys & Animals Come to Life

I'm the guardian of a 9-year-old and this course was a great match — the toys-and-animals-coming-to-life theme really sparked creativity and discussion. Lessons were well-paced across the 17 weeks, and the combination of discussion, games, and creative activities kept her participating actively. Forty minutes once a week was long enough to dive into chapters without losing focus, and the vocabulary work was helpful in building confidence talking about the stories.

Book Club: Toys & Animals Come to Life

We enrolled our 12-year-old and overall enjoyed the focus on creative activities alongside reading and vocabulary. The once-a-week, 40-minute lessons fit our schedule, but some weeks felt a bit fast when new vocabulary was introduced. Still, he stayed engaged and it was a worthwhile experience.

Night by Elie Wiesel — Novel Study

This novel study offered thoughtful discussion of characters, symbols, conflicts, and themes, and my teen really engaged with the found-poem project. The pacing across the single weekly session felt balanced—challenging but manageable. Good fit for ages 13–17 who want a deeper look at Elie Wiesel's Night.

Book Club: Toys & Animals Come to Life

My 11-year-old looked forward to the book club each week; the mix of reading, discussion, vocabulary building, and games made the stories come alive. The 17-week length felt just right to explore the books without rushing.
