This was a useful introduction to climate fundamentals and ethics, and my 13-year-old enjoyed the discussion-based format. However, with only one 60-minute lesson per week over eight weeks, some topics—especially applied AI—felt a little rushed and could have used more time to sink in.

Fantastic course for a teen interested in climate and tech. The 1:1 Socratic approach felt genuinely tailored and the lessons mixed slides, videos, games, and discussion in a way that kept my 16-year-old engaged each 60-minute weekly session. I particularly liked the ethical conversations framed through Solarpunk and Drawdown ideas, and the encouragement to investigate local interventions made the material feel actionable. After eight weeks they were more curious and had concrete ideas to explore further.

My 9-year-old found the Solarpunk framing inspiring, though a few of the machine learning examples needed extra simplification for their age.

We enrolled our 12-year-old in this 8-week, one-on-one course and appreciated the mix of climate science, regenerative technologies, and applied machine learning. The Socratic, tailored instruction kept them thinking, and the combination of slides, videos, games, and discussion made complex topics more accessible. My only small gripe is that the 60-minute weekly lesson felt a bit tight when trying to also plan local investigations.
