Overall a great upper elementary module that clearly teaches strategies from one-digit multipliers to the standard algorithm; my child liked the partial products approach and the contextual problems that made the math feel useful. Lessons are 50 minutes each and meet three times a week for four weeks, which worked well most weeks. I would have rated five stars if there were optional extra practice packets for reinforcement between lessons, but otherwise it's a solid course.

Very impressed — the mix of Illustrative Mathematics materials (with occasional OpenStax references) made the concepts click for my 8-year-old. The pacing across 3 lessons per week over four weeks felt balanced, and the guided practice helped them apply methods to word problems. They now tackle multi-step multiplication problems with much less hesitation.

I appreciated that the course covers partial products and the standard algorithm and includes guided practice with contextual problems. However, my child found the 50-minute lessons a bit long some days and could have used more short checkpoints between lessons.

My 9-year-old gained real confidence with multi-digit multiplication thanks to the clear progression from one-digit multipliers to multi-digit factors during the four-week, three-lesson-per-week course.
