This one-week camp delivered a concise, practical introduction to public forum debate. My 13-year-old benefited from the guided practice and debate drills, and the mini-PF rounds let them put techniques into action right away. The handouts made it easy to review at home and preparing research beforehand was optional, which worked well for our schedule. Highly recommend for teens who want a focused, skill-based experience.

Mixed feelings: the curriculum was useful, especially the focus on persuasive speaking and credible sources, but the pace felt fast for our child. With five lessons in one week at 55 minutes each it was intense. Still, the mini-PF rounds did provide practical practice.

Overall a solid experience—my 16-year-old learned about civil discourse and how to find credible evidence for arguments. I just wish the course was a bit longer than one week to reinforce the skills.
