Ms. J.

A lovely, low-pressure creative class for kids aged 9–12 that fit well into our summer schedule.

Solid beginner course—concise 45-minute weekly lessons over 16 weeks that introduced key concepts without overwhelming a young learner.

Exactly what I hoped for: structured enough to learn new ways of expressing ideas but relaxed enough that my 11-year-old felt comfortable experimenting. The eight-week run let them build a small junk journal and reflect on progress through the prompts.

Very pleased with the focus on creative music and form. The sessions are the right length and the emphasis on developing short original musical ideas kept my child engaged throughout the term.
