Ms. B.

A focused, well-paced exploration of the Dred Scott decision — my child appreciated the emphasis on constitutional reasoning and the broader political consequences.

Substantive content and suitable for high school students, though my 13-year-old needed extra time after the 55-minute lesson to fully grasp the nuances.

This one-week, one-lesson format worked well for our schedule and gave my teen a meaningful look at citizenship issues and the road to the Civil War.

Excellent concise course — the 55-minute lesson covered constitutional reasoning and the historical impact of Dred Scott clearly and thoughtfully.
