This course balanced technique and curiosity well; the work observing specimens, drawing at multiple magnifications, and presenting findings made the 16-week commitment worthwhile.

Very happy with the course — it challenged my 14-year-old in a constructive way and the mix of compound and dissecting microscopes kept things interesting week to week.

Good introduction to microscopes and specimen observation, but the single 45-minute lesson per week felt a bit short to cover some of the advanced topics thoroughly. My child did improve over the 16 weeks, yet I would have liked more practice time built in.

Our daughter enjoyed recording drawings at different magnifications and explaining her observations; the course encouraged careful observation and clear presentation of findings.
