Algebra I (Math-U-See) — 7-Week Summer Course (Workbook Required)

I liked that this is a teacher-led Algebra I course with daily lessons and a required workbook which gave structure. Five lessons a week for seven weeks felt intense and my child sometimes needed more time to absorb concepts. The ungraded participation option was a helpful fallback when we couldn't meet the PDF submission requirements.

My 12-year-old had a mixed experience. The teacher-led whiteboard instruction and worked examples were helpful and class time that reviewed homework was useful, but the pace felt a bit fast for them and the graded track's PDF-only submission policy (no late grading) was frustrating.
