Story Crafting: Structure, Conflict, and Character

My teenager learned useful techniques for building conflict and creating a strong hook, and the workshops with teacher and peer feedback were helpful. However, the single-week, four-lesson format felt rushed and left little time for deeper revision.

9th Grade Full Curriculum — Unit 2 (English, Algebra, Biology, Geography, Social

As a parent I appreciated the breadth—English, Algebra 1, biology and geography are all covered across seven weeks. The 60-minute lessons, four times a week, felt substantial but manageable for our busy schedule. Lessons emphasize writing reinforcement, math procedures, scientific ideas and geographic themes, and the small projects helped cement learning. Pacing and difficulty matched my child's 9th-grade level, and we saw steady improvement in grammar and algebra skills.

Story Crafting: Structure, Conflict, and Character

This was an excellent crash-course in story craft — the exercises on hooks and outlining were exactly what my 17-year-old needed. The cadence of four 60-minute lessons packed in a lot of useful feedback from peers and the instructor.
