Short, focused lessons twice a week were ideal for my 14-year-old's attention span and the 20-week length gave time for real improvement. Topics like food, sports, directions and daily activities made conversations feel relevant, and the practice with numbers, dates and time was useful for everyday situations. Listening and speaking practice noticeably improved pronunciation and confidence, and the inclusion of basic grammar tied the lessons together.

The beginning-to-intermediate progression suited my 15-year-old well and the balance of vocabulary, listening practice and conversation practice felt purposeful. Basic grammar was introduced at a comfortable pace. We also appreciated the emphasis on recognizing essential characters.

The focus on pinyin and pronunciation plus practical topics like numbers, greetings and family really helped my 11-year-old. Two 30-minute lessons per week over 20 weeks fit our schedule and built steady confidence.

My 13-year-old found the lessons too fast and the 30-minute sessions weren't enough time to absorb the material, so we discontinued the course.
