Really liked the balance of vocabulary work and deeper discussion; the format works well for ages 10–13 and kept my child interested without being overwhelming.

This guided reading club was a great fit — manageable time commitment, clear goals like determining theme, and my kid stayed engaged throughout the three weeks.

There was useful historical content—Prohibition and the Harlem Renaissance were covered clearly—but my 13-year-old sometimes found 45 minutes too short to fully digest certain lessons. Helpful overall, but a bit more depth would have improved the experience.

Helpful content and a nice focus on inferential questions, but I would recommend it mainly if your child responds well to short, weekly lessons.
